The MyCase integration allows matters created in MyCase to be imported into Case Status, and for certain pieces of those matters to sync between the two systems.
Case Imports & Syncing
All open and closed matters will be synced into case status. The automatic sync runs nightly at 9:15 PM UTC, but can also be triggered manually at any time. The first sync will pull all cases from the last 10 years. After the first sync, the following imports will run for cases updated within the last 30 days. Duplicate cases will not be added.
All matters that are closed in MyCase will sync to be closed in Case Status when the nightly sync runs.
Regardless of how the sync is triggered, if any data in MyCase does not match the data in Case Status the case will be updated accordingly. The following attributes will be updated when the sync runs for existing cases
- Lead attorney assigned to the case
- Additional attorneys assigned to the case
- Paralegals assigned to the case
- Case description
- Practice Area
- Current stage of the case
- Case date
- Case ID
Document Syncing
All documents that have been shared in Case Status will sync back into MyCase. Documents are syncing automatically every 20 minutes and will be found in the ‘Case Documents’ section of the matter.
Message Syncing
Messages sent from clients or to clients via Case Status will post back to MyCase every 5 minutes.
