How do I request recordings?
In order to request recordings from clients you’ll need to set up a template using the new shortcode added for this feature specifically.
To do this:
- Click on your profile picture or icon in the to right-hand corner of the screen and select ‘Settings’.
- From the Settings page, select ‘Templates’ from the options that appear across the top.
- Once in the Templates page you’ll want to select the ‘New Message Template’ option.
- You’ll then want to create a new template for each of the three new shortcodes.

How does this appear for the client?
The message sent to the client will look like this:
Once the message has been sent, the client will receive a message requesting either an audio or video recording depending on the template you sent out. Once the client clicks on the ‘Record Audio’ or ‘Record Video’ option it will open either an audio recorder or video recorder to allow the client to respond to your request. The will then client have 90 seconds to record audio or video to send back to you.
Clients have the option to retake the video if they want or choose to send the current recording. The video/audio files will be available in the Messages thread as well as the Documents section.
