Set up Summary:
User profiles are how your staff will log into Case Status and communicate with their clients. There are three methods today that firm users can be created within Case Status. Users can be created by our integration partners, CSV upload, or by users of the Case Status app directly. Regardless of how a firm opts to create its users this process must be completed before cases can be created. This is because one of the minimum requirements to create a case is the Primary Attorney must be listed.
Set Up Methods:
Integration: If your firm is integrated with one of our integration partners listed below, profiles will automatically be created with staff assigned to open/active cases in their case management system. Please refer to the integration overview of your specific case management system for more details.
*CasePeer, CoCounselor, Filevine, Litify, Merus Case, Salesforce, & SmartAvocate.
CSV upload: If your firm would like to upload a large number of staff members at the same time, Please contact support@casestatus.com or your dedicated Customer Success Manager to help you upload this information all at one time.
Case Status: If your firm is not integrated, or you would like to directly add a user to the platform you can do that in the settings.
Additional Information:
It is important that all users that are client facing completely fill out their user profile so that they become visible to clients on the my team tab in the mobile app. This includes a picture, contact information and bio in their profile. Firms that are integrated with a case management system must still go in and upload a picture to their profile in order for it to be complete.
