Summary of Feature:
Updating Practice Areas in bulk can be used when you would like to update multiple cases to the same practice area and stage at one time. This allows you to save valuable time for your team, because you no longer have to update information on a case-by-case basis.
Step by Step Guide:
1. Once you have identified the cases you want to update by using filters, click the checkbox in the column header row. You can also manually click all of the cases you want update. Once you have chosen more than one case, the bulk actions button will appear.
2. Click "Bulk Actions".
3. Click "Update a Practice Area".
4. Click "Select new Practice Area" and select the new practice area from the dropdown menu.
5. Click "Select new Stage" and select the new stage from the dropdown menu.
6. Click "Save"
7. Confirm the update for the cases. Click "Update Practice Area on x cases"
Additional Information:
Once you confirm the update, a communication to the cases that you updated will be send informing them of their updated status.
If your business is integrated with a CMS, this update should take place within your CMS in order to keep the integration between Case Status and your CMS running smoothly. Updating this information directly in Case Status instead of your CMS can cause unnecessary communication during the syncing process that could reduce client satisfaction.
